Itweetsgiving‘m grateful for my 2 beautiful, vivacious daughters, and their beautiful, vivacious mom.

I’m grateful for an incredible team at theKbuzz, specifically Devin, Mandy, Jenna, Helen, Claudia, Jojo, Kristen, Michele, Ilana, Cara and all of our buzz builders.

I’m grateful for our clients, who drive us to work harder and smarter.

I’m grateful for our blog’s readers, our Twitter followers, and our Facebook fans, who have taught me so much and who continue to be so supportive of the work we do. (Please retweet!) :)

I’m grateful for the rest of the #Tweetsgiving team that I’ve been able to work with and learn from over the past year, specifically Stacey, Sanjay, Shannon, Kira, Jen, Avi, Danny and John.

I’m grateful for my family, far and wide, which includes my aunts and uncles and cousins, etc, but also includes all of the above people.

I’m grateful for the freedoms that I so often take for granted, for the incredible education I received, for my friends, my neighbors, for our teachers, our police officers, our firefighters, and our elected leaders.

I’m grateful that we live in the world in which social media is now the great equalizer. It is a world in which protesters in China and Iran can now express themselves. It is a world in which a mom and pop shop with a small budget but clever strategy on Facebook or Twitter can out-do a fortune 500 company with an unlimited budget. It is a world in which a chicken farmer in Tanzania can start a school, and receive support from all over the world, to help build and grow that school. It is a world in which my 6 year old daughter can now blog, and communicate with a 6 year old in Mama Lucy’s school in Tanzania, via Twitter.

For the next 48 hours, from 12 noon eastern time Tuesday through 12 noon eastern time Thursday, Tweetsgiving, a global celebration of gratitude, will take place online and offline.  There are several ways that you can join us:

1) Visit http://tweetsgiving.org and share your gratitude, your story, and, if you choose, your donation.

2) Use the hashtag #tweetsgiving and share what you’re grateful for in a status update on Twitter or Facebook.

3) Follow our client 1-800-flowers.com on Twitter, as they are donating $1 per follower gained over the 48 hours.

4) Visit our client Uno’s Chicago Grill for a snack, or lunch, or drinks Thursday night, and use this coupon so they’ll donate 20% of your check to Tweetsgiving.

5) Repeats steps 1-2.

THANK YOU, readers, friends, clients, staff, family, fans, and followers, for spreading the word, and sharing your gratitude. I am grateful for you.
